As we close the chapter on 2024, we are filled with gratitude and pride for what has been an extraordinary year at Matters on Tomorrow. Together, we’ve reached new milestones, expanded our impact, and laid the groundwork for an even brighter future.
This year, the Nebraska Startup Academy made remarkable strides, expanding to 11 states, receiving a $1,200,000 grant, and supporting over 300 startup founders. These achievements underscore the academy’s role as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship across the nation.
Locally, through the Eighmy Foundation, we invested $143,000 into 17 programs in Custer County and Nebraska, reinforcing our commitment to community development. Globally, our support for Sparks4Change Rwanda continued, providing room, board, and tuition for four students, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.
Education remained at the heart of our mission. We awarded three scholarships through the Latino Summit Scholarship and provided 53 full college scholarships through True Potential. These efforts are helping young leaders achieve their academic and career aspirations.
Inclusivity and adaptive programming continued to flourish. Five participants joined Bike Camp and summer adaptive bike training, while 59 participants engaged in Dancing Beyond Limits, which experienced significant growth this year. To support this growth, Dancing Beyond Limits introduced stipends for its teachers, recognizing their invaluable contributions.
Additionally, we celebrated a historic moment for Matters on Tomorrow by adding two fractional contractors to our team. This step ensures we can better support our platform and sustain the meaningful work we do. We also continued to rely on the dedication of nearly 100 volunteers who bring our mission to life with their time and passion.
As we step into 2025, we carry forward the momentum of this transformative year. Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are building a tomorrow that matters.
